Elsevier Becomes Knowledge Partner at PULSE 2010 @AIIMS

The much anticipated annual literary and sports festival of AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), PULSE took place on 16^th -22^nd Sep’2010. Elsevier India was the key knowledge partner at this inter college extravaganza that witnesses the confluence of medical intellect and talent from all parts of the country. Elsevier Consult family products and best-sellers in print were showcased at Elsevier knowledge centers that were strategically located in various parts of the premises. The platform provided an opportunity for eager medical students to interact with doctors working for Elsevier. Several hows’ and whys’ were discussed in length and varied career paths after MBBS and post-graduate studies were conversed about.

Elsevier also rolled out the Elsevier Student Ambassador (ESA) program at PULSE. The mandate of this program is to have few chosen expert reviewers and student ambassadors from the student community across the country. Being ESAs, they would be offered rich medical content and books absolutely free, apart from getting great opportunities to publish with Elsevier. The response was tremendous with students queuing up to register with Elsevier at the knowledge centers and to be forever associated with an esteemed knowledge partner for life.
